The groundbreaking report, Building Peace in Permanent War, Terrorist Listing and Conflict Transformation, provides empirical data on how counterterrorism legislation has affected peacebuilding practice at the local and international level.
Co-authors Vicki Sentas and Louise Boon-Kuo will discuss their report in a webinar, with commentary from U.S. peacebuilding expert Lisa Schirch. The report concludes that there is a “growing consensus that laws prohibiting support to listed entities have contributed to a ‘shrinking space’ for those seeking to establish the conditions conducive to peace.” To read the report online, go to http://www.tni.org/sites/www.tni.org/files/download/building_peace_in_permanent_war_feb_2015_-_for_circ.pdf.
